Nearly $30M was distributed because of donors like you!
In FY26, the UA Foundation provided $29.8 million to support students, programs and priorities across the University of Alaska. This support was made possible by generous donors. The UA Foundation carefully manages these resources, honoring donor intent and investing funds for long-term support when appropriate.
What is a distribution?
A distribution is the amount the UA Foundation provides to the University of Alaska for use during the year. It is not the same as the amount the UA Foundation receives in donations and other resources during that year. For example, some donations are held until they are needed for the purpose the donor chose. Endowed donations are invested for the long term, with a portion made available each year so the donation can continue providing support into the future.
